STEWART Captain William Iain Born July 3, 1929 in Wishaw Scotland, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2006. His supportive wife Joan and 7 children Bill (Therese), Alan (Deborah), John (Judy), Brian, Lindsay (Chris), Robin (Gabriella), Alexandra (Jim), numerous grandchildren and brothers Roy and Alastair of Scotland survive him. Iain was a proud and active member of the BC Coast Pilots from 1969 to 1984 when a tragic car accident left him unable to work. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved the sea and spending time at 108 Mile. Heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Fellburn where Iain spent the past 20 years and to Bby General for their care and kindness. Special thanks to Dugald and Chris who provided Dad with great companionship, support and greatly improved quality of life. Private family service to be held at a later date.
