Sydney Heal Dec 28, 1925 - May 8, 2017 Lieutenant for the British Navy, pioneering marine industry businessman, and prolific author of local maritime history, Syd will be remembered for his great courage, intelligence and dignity. He died peacefully May 8, 2017 and will be missed by many friends, relatives in the UK, and his two adult children Rod and Andrea. A private memorial will be held at the Vancouver Maritime Museum.
