Ron Hooper

HOOPER Ron was born in Vancouver on November 6, 1959 and died suddenly on September 11, 2005 from a heart attack. His father, Len Hooper and his mother, Lorna Hooper, predeceased him. He is survived by his wife, Linda Combs, brothers Bill Hooper (Susan) and Gerald Hooper (Shelly), his sister Adele Berry (Mike), his aunt Marilyn Verdiel (Gary), nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Ron loved the ocean and has been a member of the ILWU Local 400 Marine Section since 1980 and worked for Ocean Construction Marine Division since July 1987. He was a true Harley-Davidson man and lived the motto “Ride hard or stay home”. Friends are welcome to join in remembering Ron on Sunday, September 18, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Myles of Beans Coffee House, 7010 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC.
