McDONALD Roderick Alexander Rod passed away suddenly on March 22, 2003 at his home in Dewdney, BC at 64 years of age. Rod was born in Mission on November 28, 1938 and lived his entire life in the Mission area. Rod was a well known towboat captain and commercial fisherman for almost 50 years. Rod will be sadly missed by his 4 sons Steve (Fran), Kevin (Elizabeth), Mike (Bonnie) and Stewart (Lesley); and his wife Judy. His joy in life was his grandchildren Christopher, Mandy, Amanda, Michael, Bradley, Cameron and Abigail. Rod will be missed by his youngest sister Kathleen, his sister Miriam and Brice Macdougall and their family and by his mother-in-law Violet Inch (nanny). Rod was predeceased by his mother Edith (Nana Mac); his father George (Grandpa Mac); his brother Archie and his father-in-law Jim Inch. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 30, 2003 at 1:30 pm at the Clarke Foundation Theatre at 33700 Prentis Avenue, Mission, BC.
