THORNE Robert Scott It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Scott on Sunday, August 3, 2008 in a plane crash near Port Hardy, BC. A wonderful husband and best friend to Patti; a very loving Dad to Stephanie (Zach) and Michelle (Zac). He will also be very sorely missed by his sister and brother-in-law Marise and Clive Besser; step-Mom Audrey Thorne; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Betty and Patrick Davies, Neville Beddome, Jean and Chuck Siggs, Sue and Barry Nielsen; Uncle and Aunts - Jack, Joy and Nancy; cousins, nieces and nephews. Scott worked for 30 years at Seaspan International Ltd; the past eight years as a Mate. He loved his job, loved the sea, but he always loved to come home again. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 14th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Helens Anglican Church at 4405 West 8th Avenue (8th and Trimble), Vancouver.
