INGALLS Captain Rexford Wallace February 4, 1920 - September 10, 2009 Rex passed away in his sleep on September 10, 2009. He served through WW II in the R.C.N.R. on the Canadian corvettes. After the war Rex worked for Cliff Towing, Canadian Tugboat Co. Ltd. and Kingcome Navigation. Dad then went to work for the Fraser River Pilots and in his words, for “29 wonderful years - he was able to play boat and get paid for it.” Dad is predeceased by the only love of his life, wife of 54 years, Bette and their two sons Mike and Phillip. Rex is survived by his two sisters, Lucille (Dick) and Sibyll, his brother Capt. Ken R. Ingalls, B.C.C.P. (retired), (Sylvia), son Captain Robert (Bob) C. Ingalls, Seaspan, (Joanne), daughter Robbyn (Tony), sister and brother in law Joan and Jack, two grandchildren, Kerri (Jason) and David and three great-grandchildren, Dylan, Summer and Little Nick. A Celebration of Life will be held at Delta Funeral Home, 5329 Ladner Trunk Road, Ladner, BC on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 11:30 am. Reception to follow. Delta Funeral Home (604) 946-6040
