BARTEL Captain W. Morton, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 28, 2005. Morton is at peace but will be missed by daughters, Stephanie and Christina, father, Wallace, brother Blake (Laurie), aunts, cousins and friends. Morton loved his family and cherished his friends. Memorial at 12:00, Saturday, June 11, 2005 at Maquabeak Park, 5 Burbidge Street, Coquitlam, BC.
In Memory of Morton Bartel March 1958 to May 2005. Morton was at his best on the water in the wheelhouse of a tugboat commanding the barge with the flow and ebb of the tides. Morton’s final resting place will be at Tugboat Rock, a memorial site for mariners in beautiful Howe Sound. The dead have peace, but the living weep. _ Samuel Hoffenstein
