LANG _ Richard Gordon (Dick) passed into the Presence of his Lord on Sunday evening, 17 September 2006, at the Salvation Army Rotary Hospice, Richmond, British Columbia. He leaves to mourn his loving widow, Whynonia, his four children Echo (Bill), Catherine (Dan), Richard (Linda) and Dawn (Jim), 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Dick proudly served his country in WWII and was an active member in the Gizeh Drum and Bugle Corp, the Vancouver Naval Veterans Band, and a Lifetime Member of The Royal Canadian Legion. For many years Dick was a Chief Engineer with Seaspan International and retired in 1985. A Service of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Savior’s Anglican Church, 9280 No. 2 Rd, Richmond, Sept 22, 2006 at 2:30 PM, with the Right Reverend Robert D. Redmile, Bishop of Richmond, officiating. Interment of ashes will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Salvation Army Rotary Hospice House, 6460 No. 4 Rd, Richmond BC, V6Y 2S9
