DUNN, Michael Joseph July 18, 1943 - April 4, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Joseph Dunn on Sunday, April 4th, 2010. Beloved father and best friend to Ryan and Deena, Aaron and Gabriela, Candice and Robbie, Nolan and Alicia and his Special J. He also leaves behind four grandchildren whom he adored, Sophie, Griffin, Chloe and Hudson. Mike is also survived by his siblings, Stan (JoAnne), John (Lorraine) and Gail along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mike was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario and moved to Vancouver in the late 60s and finally settled in Victoria in 1989. He was a loyal employee of Seaspan International for 32 years first as a deckhand and then later as a cook. By those that knew him Mike will be remembered for being outgoing, generous, compassionate and as a man not afraid to speak his mind or show his unorthodox sense of humor. A Celebration of Life to be held for family and friends, Saturday, April 10th in Brentwood Bay, BC. Thank you for being our confidant, best friend and the coolest Dad ever!
