SCOTT Captain Harry S. Passed away May 2, 2009, at the age of 81. Beloved father of Kristine, Kimberly Leroux (Roger), Sara Jane Quiring (Larry), grandfather of Taylor and Reece Leroux, brother Norman (Kay) and sister Christine Casey (Jim). Harry commenced his maritime career on the Princess Louise (CPR). During and following World War II he served in the Merchant Navy, sailing aboard lake ships _ primarily on the ship Lake Okanagan. He was employed for many years by Northland Navigation, as Captain, sailing from Vancouver to Prince Rupert and the Queen Charlottes and taking supplies to the communities along the coast on the ships Haida Prince, Island Prince, Northland Prince and Skeena Prince from 1959 to 1977. Following that he served as Captain on the Princess Marguerite on the Victoria to Seattle run. He also served as Vice-President, Deck for the Canadian Merchant Service Guild. No service by request.
