BUTTERLEY Charles Donald (Don) Born March 25, 1926 in Vancouver. Died peacefully in the early morning at the Langley Hospice on May 28, 2009. Predeceased by his beloved wife Patricia Anne, Don is survived by his son Keith (Sue), daughters Catherine (John Kirk) and Karen (Dick Georgelin), his grandchildren Jessica (Richard Giuliani), Jared (Annika), Christopher, Tyler and his brother Bob (Jackie). A very special thanks to Uncle Harry who helped to look after Dad. The family would also like to thank the staff of the hospice for making Dad’s last few days so comfortable. Dad was an active individual and after retirement he spent the last 20 years as a volunteer putting in over 2000 hours at the Canadian Museum of Flight. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. A celebration of Don’s life will be held on June 8, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Canadian Museum of Flight, 5333 - 216 Street, Langley. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Canadian Museum of Flight.
