MACPHERSON Captain Donald May 23, 1928 - January 30, 2009 Passed away peacefully at Lions Gate Hospital on January 30th, 2009 at the age of 80. He is lovingly missed by his wife Rosalyn of 54 years, daughters Heather (Chris) Birch, Bonnie (Richard) Campbell, Shawn, granddaughter Alisha, brother Gerry and sisters-in-law, extended family and friends. Don will be remembered for his love of the sea, 42 years at Seaspan, and his sense of humour. Stoic to the end through various health challenges. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 1:30pm, Lynn Valley United, 3201 Mountain Highway, North Vancouver. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the MS Society or Loins Gate Hospital Foundation.
