INKSTER Captain Dennis Allan, born in 1942, lost his 2 year, courageous battle with cancer at Lions Gate Hospital on Saturday, May 31, 2003 at the age of 61. He was predeceased by his parents, Gib and Mamie Inkster, Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara of 40 years, sons Gary and Steve, his dear grandchildren Emilie and Blake, his sister Joan (Dick) Richards, his brother Brian (Pam) and many friends and family who supported him throughout his illness. Dennis began his career with the Dept. of Public Works in 1961, then joined CPR’s BCCSS in 1973 and finally Seaspan Coastal Intermodal Services. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Rd., North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation, 231 East 15 St., North Vancouver V7L 2L7 in Dennis’ memory.
