MCINTOSH, David Melville February 14, 1925 - October 11, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of David M. McIntosh. Dave went to sea all his life, first towing for Vancouver Tug (now Seaspan), and eventually becoming a Master Mariner while working there; he then went to school to become a Pilot, which he did in 1965. Dave always said being a Pilot was the best job he ever had. He retired after 20 years of service in 1989. The last thing he did involved going to sea: he went on an Alaska cruise with family and friends in September. There will be a Celebration of Life for Dave at his home on October 23rd for family and friends. He leaves to mourn him his wife of almost 60 years, Gwen, his son Brian and wife Darlene and three granddaughters, Melissa, Stephanie and Jaclyn, his second son Brent, his partner Terri and grandson Alex, also his sister Ruth and all her family.
